Welcome

If you're interested in conscious living, then likely you're just as equally interested in Zen but simply not knowingly interested.

Usually Zen is associated with Japanese culture and religious or Buddhism practice, but true Zen (or at least the way this site uses the term) is emphasizing the value of conscious living.

Zen and conscious living come together and go hand-in-hand. Hence, conscious living without Zen is a huge oversight and vice-versa because these are not two.

"Conscious Flex: Zen & Conscious Living" is designed to offer a partnership of how these seemingly two are actually one movement.

Zen is the foundational spaciousness or presence from which conscious living derives. In the same manner that an artist, inventor or intuitive actions come from the stillness in the silence of non-movement.

In other words, Zen is a resting in the powerful space of not thinking about thought, not doing anything about doing, not trying to be the solver or understander, the knower collector but simply allowing the intelligence of life to flow through you and as you.

What is described can be thought of as meditation or accessing our intuition, but it's actually just natural living.

Often you will see kids in a natural resting space or presence and we tell them "snap out of it" because we think they are in "lala land" or "fantasy land" and not paying attention but actually they are simply being completely present with what is. It's natural to just rest and be, that's the flow from which insight and wisdom arises from.

Hence, conscious living is also the natural flow of how life organically expands upon itself. Consequently, conscious living is Zen living, when it's pure and without conceptual overlays.

Enjoy!
  • Why is There Difficulty in Knowing, Feeling & Experiencing Infinite Potential? There is Another Way Through Understanding Filters & Cubed Perspective

Why do many people not believe in infinite potential? Why do the ones who do believe fail to experience it? In this article I will focus on answering these questions and in the next article I will suggest a solution.

First there is life, which is the essence of infinite potential. Second there is how all human beings sense life, which is through five filters that limit what life really is and that creates the conflict. Human beings perceive reality as being limited potential because our limited five senses are constructed in that manner.

    Explanation in Simple Terms

I will explain this in a way that most anybody can understand. Imagine life as being unlimited in every way you can imagine. In other words, you have the ability to know everything and experience anything you desire. Now imagine that you are inside a dark cube and inside this cube are six sides (that make up the cube), on every side is a small hole of light which gives you the ability to sense what life is all about. On each side of the cube (where the small holes are) there is one ability: the ability to see, hear, taste, smell and feel. That is five abilities to perceive the world.

The sixth one is a bit tricky because it is the smallest of the bunch and even if you do find it on the side of cube that it is located, it will probably be so small that you can not sense anything significant enough to know what it is or what it is trying to tell you. This sixth sense is the ability to sense something beyond the other senses, which is different for everybody but for most it is not even noticeable. This is why most do not believe in infinite potential. At this abilities lowest form, for a brief moment (which most do not even reach) you may sense that there is more to life than what is being perceived.

The Filters that Limit Your Experience
All the other five senses or holes in the cube (assuming they all work to their highest potential) do not perceive what is outside the cube directly, it is always ran through a filter first before you as the observer get a chance to experience it through one or all of your senses. All the filters are the same and they are directly linked, giving you the experience to observe all six senses or holes (in most cases five) simultaneously through the same make up.

The filters are made up of: your perspective on life, your beliefs about life, your expectations to life and your experience of life. These filters are ran on automatic, making it subconsciously programmed and consciously unperceivable.

Scientific Evidence that Infinite Potential is Everywhere
For an example of what I am talking about, I am going to share with you this 5 minute video and afterwards I will explain:

The video is based on a scientific discovery that science cannot yet explain. In short the video is saying that there is infinite potential everywhere making all things possible, but life is not experienced that way because we observe it. The video leaves you with the question "What does the observer have to do with any of this?" and the answer is that the observer limits what is being experienced through the filters (perspective, beliefs, expectations and experience).

It does not matter that life is infinite potential as long as you have filters that limit what can be perceived. Yet, change one part of the filters and you change all the filters. In other words, change one limited belief about life and you will automatically change your perspective, expectations and experience of life or visa versa to any of the filters.

Every human being experiences life through filters, in fact it is the only way life can be experienced. Infinite Potential is everywhere, all the time. Infinite potential can not reveal itself as anything certain/ specific unless or until it is observed. In other words, everything that could ever happen is happening all at once in every single moment (which in the essence of everything existing, nothing really exists until perceived). Your filters narrow this down. This is what makes infinite potential possible.

Therefore, the key is in the filters. Yet, the filters will naturally put everyone into this cube perspective based on the senses. This cube perspective is a closed cube making it a cubed perspective. This cubed perspective will always lead to what I called a cubed consciousness. In the next article, I will introduce what I called the Infinite Potential Consciousness. Holding this consciousness (once understood) automatically unlimits the filters to a point of knowing, feeling and experiencing infinite potential. Which leads to every other sense being fine-tuned/ sharpened and broadens the light so that you can free yourself from the blackness of the cubed consciousness.
